The 9th edition of Delhi Dialogue will be held on 4th July in New Delhi by External Foreign Affairs Minister, Sushma Swaraj. The main agenda of this dialogue, which will last for two days will be based on the ASEAN- India Relations: Charting the Course for the Next 25 Years.

Association of Southeast Asian Nations is a regional intergovernmental organisation comprising of ten Southeast Asian states which promotes pan-asianism, intergovernmental cooperation and facilitates economic, political, military, educational and cultural integration amongst its members and Asian states. It is considered as one of the fastest growing region in the world.

The ways to strengthen the already existing ties between India and ASEAN will be highlighted during the event.

Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam Pham Binh Minh, senior leader from Myanmar U Kyaw Tint Swe, Senior Minister of State for Defence and Foreign Affairs, of Singapore Maliki Osman, Thailand’s Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Virasakdi Futrakul will be attending the event.
