Through open and distance mode, a new course – Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Biochemistry has been launched by the Indira Gandhi National Open University. With academic consultation and support of distinguished academician, the programme has been designed and developed in different disciplines of Biochemistry.
To be eligible to apply for the programme, the candidates need to have a pass certificate of plus two with Biology, Chemistry and Physics as subjects . August 31, is the online window to apply for the course . Through the website- ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in, the candidates can apply for this course. The cost of the course for the programme is Rs 43,500.
Earlier, through open and distance mode the varsity had launched a Master’s programme in Sanskrit. Through ODL mode it becomes much more flexible for the candidates to cipmlete the course. After graduation, the students of any discipline can pursue Master’s in Sanskrit .
As per the varsity due to the pandemic, including e-Gyankosh – a national digital repository, Gyanvani – an education FM radio, Gyandhara – internet audio, and content s of IGNOU’s library several other facilities have been offered by the open university for the candidates. This course would help students to gain more knowledge and make the most out of the time they have now.
