2021 SsangYong Rexton

First thing first, the all-new Rexton comes with some minor cosmetic updates that has some major consequences on the design language. For instance, the front fascia of the SUV now gets a redesigned gladiator grille and a set of new LED headlamps with DRLs. Similarly, the Korean carmaker has tried to update the rear end with a revamped pair of LED taillamps. The side profile of the 2021 Rexton remains unchanged with set of 18-inch alloy wheels.

Enter the cabin and there comes a more premium feel. The all-new Rexton now features a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, 12.3-inch fully digital instrument cluster, dual zone climate control, ventialed seats, heated steering wheel and more. Apart from all these bits, SsangYong will continue to offer a powered tailgate on the all-new Rexton to reduce human effort.

Under the hood, it is available with a 2.2-litre e-XDi turbocharged diesel engine. And for the reference, this motor produces a massive 202PS of power alongside 441Nm of torque. Tranmission duties are well handled by a new 8-speed automatic gearbox. Not to forget, in terms of towing, this SUV is an absolute beast. Firstly, the 2021 Rexton flaunts Trailer Sway Control Feature (TSF) and on top of that is comes with a 2180kg towing capacity.

Alternatives
