At the front, it gets a large front grille with chrome finished horizontal slats, sculpted bonnet and LED projector headlamps. The side profile of the Gloster features factory fitted footsteps, chrome door handles, wing mirrors and 19-inch alloy wheels as standard.

Inside the cabin, it is available with either a 6-seater or a 7-seater layout. To be precise, the 7 seater variants get a bench seat for the middle row. Meanwhile, the 6-seater variants come with captain seats as standard. Interestingly, the front seats are electrically adjustable with ventilation and massage function as well. Other features such as a 12 speaker audio system, 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, three-zone climate control, cooled glovebox, panoramic sunroof, air purifier and an 8-inch MID display are also available on the SUV.

The engine that powers MG Gloster is a 2.0-litre twin-turbocharged diesel unit. Talking in numbers, it is truly capable of producing 212BHP and a peak torque of 480Nm while being mated to an 8-speed torque converter gearbox. Performance-wise, the twin-turbocharged diesel motor allows the Gloster to do a 0-100kmph sprint in just 12.7 seconds. Well, that is fast enough for an SUV weighing 2500kgs.
