The Samsung Connect Tag is a tiny electronic device that almost goes with anything, including your fancy key chain to your designer dress. If we look at its practicality, it has n number of applications in the real world scenario.
In terms of technicality, the device offers a miniature 300 mAh Li-ion rechargeable battery which can last up to 7 working days. The device runs on Tizon based IoT platform (internet of things) which connectivity features like GPS, WPS, and NFC. The device will be available in South Korea from next month.

One might ask this questions as the nomenclature of this toy is bit intriguing. This is a smart gadget that connects to your smartphone using a proprietary smartphone app (as of now it is only available in Android ecosystem). So, lets us look at a practical scenario, where you have a flight and if you attack this miniature IOT device to your luggage, then tracking it will be very easy. Even if you have some elderly people in your home or a baby or your favourite pet, if you attach this to the specific thing, one can enjoy the nature’s beauty without having any worries as active GPS can exactly locate your thing.
