Moto India previously sent invite regarding the launch of the Moto X4, and the event didn’t happen due to production issues. Now, the company has started sending fresh media invites for the launch of Moto X4 on 13th November in India. This is the first smartphone from Moto that is launched under the Android One programme.

Here are the complete tech specifications of the upcoming Moto X4:

The Moto X4 offers a premium design language with all glass and metal unibody solution and other state-of-the-art features like dual rear-facing camera setup with overall improved aesthetics.

The device features a 5.2-inch full HD 1080p IPS LCD panel with 2.5D curved tempered glass from Corning Gorilla. Under the hood, the device is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 Octa-core SoC, paired with 3 GB or 4 GB LPDDR3 RAM and 32 GB or 64 GB onboard flash storage with a dedicated micro SD card slot (up to 2 TB).

In terms of optics, the Moto X4 offers a dual rear-camera setup with 12 MP + 8 MP camera combination which offers portrait mode and 4K video recording capability. On the front, the device offers a 16 MP selfie shooter with F/2.0 aperture and a dedicated flash unit onboard. The device is expected to offer improved camera capabilities on par with the Moto G5S Plus, which offers a similar set of specifications.

As it is already 3 months from the Android Oreo launch, the device is expected to feature Android Oreo out of the box with the stock user interface and this device might also receive Android P in the near future (due to Android One Programme). In terms of connectivity, the device will offer a dual SIM card slot with 4G LTE and VoLte capability with support for dual-band WiFi, WiFi Hotspot, NFC, and Bluetooth version 4.2. The device also happens to house a fingerprint scanner, which is programmable (as one key navigation button).

With respect to battery capacity, the device will offer a 3000 mAh non-user replaceable Li-ion polymer battery with Turbocharging capability via USB type C port along with USB OTG support. To conclude, the device is priced at $400 in the United States of America, on direct conversion it comes around INR 25,000. So, in India, the device is expected to be priced at INR 20,000 for the 3 GB RAM and 32 GB storage variant and INR 24,000 for the 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage variant.
