In terms of design, the all-new Ducati Scrambler Nightshift gets a flat seat, muscular fuel tank, rounded LED headlamps and a wide aluminium handlebar. However, look-wise, it feels more like a mixture of cafe race and scrambler.

Well, no doubt in that as the all-new bike comes as a replacement for the Full Throttle as well as the Cafe Racer models. Further, the engine on the Scrambler Nightshift is a BS6 compliant 803cc air/oil-cooled unit. It is capable of producing a massive 72HP @ 8,250 RPM and 66Nm @ 5,750 RRM while being mated to a 6-speed gearbox and slipper clutch for smooth shifting.

Suspension duties on the bike are handled by 41mm inverted forks upfront. Meanwhile, at the rear, it gets a conventional Kayaba monoshock setup as standard. For rider’s safety, the 2021 Ducati Scrambler Nightshift comes with disc brakes on both ends. These disc brakes are said to be powered by Brembo.

However, for enhanced safety, it comes equipped with a cornering ABS as well. Based on the steel trellis frame platform, the all-new Scrambler Nightshift also gets Pirelli MT60 tyres that provide an ample amount of grip even while cruising at higher speeds.

In India, the all-new Ducati Scrambler will directly go against the likes of Triumph Street Twin.

To retain the retro charm, the all-new Triumph Street Twin does miss out on features that are available on the Ducati Scrambler. However, it is available with a powerful 900cc twin-cylinder liquid-cooled engine that churns out 65.03HP alongside a peak torque of 80Nm. This engine is now updated as per the BS6 emission norms and comes paired to a 5-speed gearbox. Further, customers can also expect some basic safety features such as a dual-channel ABS, switchable traction control and two ride modes on offer.
