In terms of design, the all-new Honda CB150R Streetfire looks sportier with a V-shaped all-LED headlamp. Interestingly, even the taillamp and turn indicators are LED units. Apart from this, it comes with a sculpted fuel tank, a wide handlebar and a stepped-up seat among others.

In Indonesia, the recently launched CB150R Streetfire is available in two variants, precisely – Standard and Special edition. To begin with, the standard bike gets Macho Black and Stinger Red Black colour schemes. Meanwhile, the latter one is available with Armoured Matte Grey, Fury Matte Red and Raptor Matte Black colour shades on offer.

We have already seen similar entry-level bikes from Honda for the Indian market. Therefore, this one is less likely to arrive here. However, in terms of features, it will come equipped up to the brim with an LCD instrument cluster that incorporates a speedometer, fuel gauge, odometer, gear positioning indicator, etc. among others.

Interestingly, the updated Honda CB150R Streetfire now comes with 37mm USD forks from Showa. Earlier, the bike used to sit on the regular telescopic forks. But, at the rear, it is still available with a monoshock setup that is very similar to what the company used to offer on the older bike. The braking duties on the updated bike are handled disc brakes on both ends.

At the heart, the all-new Honda CB150R Streetfire gets a 149cc single-cylinder engine. Talking in numbers, it is truly capable of producing a decent 16.9PS of power and 13.8Nm of peak torque while being mated to a 6-speed gearbox. Till now, the company has not revealed the claimed mileage of the updated bike. However, it is still available with a 12-litre fuel tank to return a decent range.

Firstly, it is very less likely to launch in India. However, if launched, it will compete against the likes of KTM Duke 125 in terms of price and Yamaha MT-15 in terms of performance. For now, just take a look at the sportier Yamaha MT-15 which will be competing with the 2021 Honda CB150R Streetfire in the global market as well.
