After spied testing several times, the all-new Honda Amaze is ready to make its debut on 18th August. As per the pictures surfacing online, the facelifted sedan will feature several updates, including cosmetics. There are some details out because of the picture. However, for exact details, one has to wait till its launch.

Planning to buy a compact sedan? You can book the new Amaze online against a token amount of Rs.5,000. Interestingly, customers who are directly planning to go to their nearest dealership need to pay Rs.21,000.

What can we expect from the 2022 Honda Amaze?

Frankly speaking, the overall design language of the all-new Amaze will remain the same. However, some minor revisions such as a new pair of LED headlamps, fog lamps and additional exterior shades have made their way for the MY2022. Surprisingly, the facelifted version will now run on a new set of alloy wheels that are similar to what the brand offers on the fourth-generation Honda City.

Inside the cabin, the dashboard layout of the upcoming Amaze is expected to be retained. For a change, the brand has decided to introduce a new touchscreen infotainment system, smartphone connectivity via Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, revised upholstery and even a sunroof as well.

Under the hood, the updated Amaze will continue to get a 1.2-litre four-cylinder i-VTEC engine. The overall output from this motor is rated at 90HP and 110Nm while being mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox as standard. For added convenience, Honda will offer a CVT gearbox for the petrol variant as optional.

Other than this, the brand even offers a 1.5-litre four-cylinder diesel engine for added fuel efficiency. As claimed by the brand this unit produces 100HP alongside 200Nm while being mated to the manual gearbox. Meanwhile, the overall output when paired to the CVT gearbox is down to 80HP and 160Nm.
