2024 Hyundai Creta N: What’s new?
Exterior & Design
Although the silhouette of the Creta N Line matches with the standard model, it is in a completely different league. Starting with the changes on the outside, the SUV now features an exclusive Thunder Blue shade.
Coming to the front, the N Line version of the new Creta gets the edition-specific grille and to match up with this change, the carmaker has even updated the bumper with red inserts on the lower end to offer a more subtle look at the front. The side profile on the other hand features massive 18-inch alloy wheels, again with red calipers and disc brakes on all four ends.
Lastly, it is the rear profile that comes with similar changes like a new bumper, skid plates and twin sporty exhausts among others.
Interior & Features
Sadly, the images of the dashboard are yet to come. However, we assume that the Creta N line will remain more or less similar to the regular model. The changes that might be a part of the kit are an all-black theme, red stitching matching the elements outside, aluminium pedals, N Line-specific gear level and a revised steering wheel. These changes are already available on other N Line models that are already available in India.
Other than this, the sportier version will also feature more than 40 standard safety features including 6 airbags, hill assist, an electronic parking brake with auto hold, ESC and advanced safety features as well.
Engine & Transmission
As soon as we lift the engine bay, there is a 1.5-litre four-cylinder turbocharged engine roaring to life. Hyundai boasts that this unit produces 158 horsepower and 253 Nm while being pared to a 7-speed DCT gearbox as standard.
Want more fun? The Korean brand has announced that the top-end N10 variant will also be available with a 5-speed manual gearbox, giving customers the option to choose the transmission according to their needs.
Just like other N Line models, the Creta N Line looks promising. Is the performance-oriented Creta as good as the standard one? Let’s wait for the official launch to find out.
