Making the exhilarating Mahindra XUV300 a little more pocket friendly, the Indian car manufacturer has expanded the existing lineup with two new variants called W2 and W4 Turbosport.

Priced at Rs.7.99 Lakh onwards (ex-showroom, Delhi), the new variants are good for people who are on a tight budget but don’t want to compromise on features.

Looking for more details? Here is everything we know about both – the W2 and W4 Turbosport variants of XUV300 below.

HIGHLIGHTS:

  • Mahindra has come up with two new variants for XUV300.
  • These variants are available with a pocket-friendly price tag.
  • Price of W2 starts at Rs.7.99 Lakhs and W4 at Rs.9.29 Lakhs.

Mahindra XUV300 W2 & W4

It falls under the sub-four meter category, where there is currently some stiff competition from SUVs like Tata Nexon, Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Hyundai Venue and Kia Sonet. However, like any other brand, even XUV300 has managed to attract a lot of attention from the world.

Talking about the new affordable W2 variant, it will be available with a 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol engine, tuned in such a manner that it produces 110 horsepower and 200Nm. For transmission duties, the same motor will be paired to a 6-speed manual gearbox.

The same motor is also powering the W4 Turbosport trim but in a different tune. Unlike the engine available on the W2, this one churns out 129 horsepower and 230NM while being mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox only. Interestingly, the W4 range will now get an electric single-pane sunroof, making it stand out.

If you remember, the W4 trim is already available with a diesel engine. Therefore, sunroof is now available on that model as well.

Now, the customers might be looking for a facelifted version of the Mahindra XUV300, and that is because, a few months ago, Mahindra introduced XUV400 with various changes. As per the images surfacing online, the updated XUV300 is all set to receive major changes for both the interior and exterior. However, let’s not expect its launch anytime soon, as the possibility of it arriving is somewhere around the first quarter of 2024.

Coming to the price, Mahindra XUV300 W2 will cost its customer Rs.7.99 Lakhs. Meanwhile, the feature-loaded W4 TurboSport variant will get a price tag of Rs.9.29 Lakhs (all prices, ex-showroom, Delhi).
