Mahindra Scorpio N Z8 Select: What’s new?

The first thing that one needs to remember about the Z8 Select variant is that it sits between the Z6 and Z8 variants. Ultimately, making it better than the Z6 but lacking in a few features that the Z8 variant is loaded with.

The features that the Z8 Select misses out on are the tyre pressure monitoring system, push-button stop/start, power folding wing mirrors, automatic wipers and dual-zone climate control. Thankfully, it is way better in terms of features when compared to Z6 and that is why, is loaded with many features. The list includes 17-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, LED projector foglamps, leather material for interiors, built-in Alexa and Adrenox Connected car tech.

Sadly, the Z8 Select is not available with a 4X4 system and currently, is only being offered with a 4×2 system. This drops the price of this variant by Rs.1.65 Lakhs when compared to a full-blow Z8 trim.

Price List: Scorpio N Z8 Select

  MT AT
Petrol Rs.16.99 Lakhs Rs.18.49 Lakhs
Diesel Rs.17.99 Lakhs Rs.18.99 Lakhs

The powertrain on the Z8 Select variant remains the same just like the other variants and to get into a little more detail, the first one here is a 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine and the other one, a 2.2-litre diesel engine. The overall output from these motors stands at 200PS/380Nm and 175PS/400Nm respectively with both manual and automatic gearboxes available depending upon the customer’s requirement.

Mahindra has confirmed that the new Scorpio N Z8 Select will hit the showrooms by March beginning. Therefore, customers need to wait a little longer to get their new SUVs delivered.
