Maruti Suzuki believes in understanding the customer’s requirements rather than imposing unwanted products on them. The result is, the subsidiary of Japan-based Suzuki Motor Corporation has managed to attain the maximum market share, making itself the biggest name in the Indian automotive world.

Now, as we know, the prices of petrol and diesel are soaring high, the only practical option left is CNG. Of course, we have EVs but the affordability factor then goes for a toss. Keeping this in mind, Maruti Suzuki is aggressively expanding its lineup with CNG-powered cars. What’s exciting though is, the carmaker is not limiting the alternative fuel to its regular portfolio. Instead, this time, the newly launched MS Fronx from the NEXA channel has received such treatment.

Want to learn more about the hatchback? Let’s take a look at the all-new Maruti Suzuki Fronx CNG below.

Pocket friendly? But the base Sigma variant of Fronx CNG starts at Rs.8.41 Lakhs, while the top-end Delta variant features a price tag of Rs.9.27 Lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi). No, it’s the ownership cost that you would be saving a lot on. Unlike the petrol variant, this one returns an overall mileage of 28.51 km/kg with a 1.2-litre engine onboard and a 5-speed manual gearbox available as standard.

Now, when we talk about a CNG-powered car, the boot space is worrisome. Putting an end to customers’ anxiety, Maruti Suzuki has managed to extract a decent boot space of 339 litres, enough to cater to most people’s needs.

Just like the regular Sigma and Delta variants, the CNG-powered variants of Fronx are available with exciting features. To name a few, they are loaded with a touchscreen infotainment system, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, keyless entry and a reverse parking camera. Other than this, the hatchback also features safety aids such as dual airbags and ABS with EBD among others.

To conclude, Maruti Suzuki Fronx CNG is a perfect hatchback for people who are looking for an under 10 Lakh product and want their ride to be mileage friendly. The space inside the cabin of the Fronx is adequate and with enough boot space, it still remains an exciting product overall.
