Recently, the luxurious MPV has received a major update and entered its second-generation life cycle. So, the question is, will it come to India? 2023 Toyota Vellfire: What’s new?
In its second-generation avatar, the all-new Toyota Vellfire has been a hot topic in the entire automotive industry due to several reasons. One of the major reasons behind this attention is the whopping dimension numbers that ultimately help the overall road presence. Thankfully the changes are not limited to this as the Vellfire has also actually grown in size but has shredded a lot of weight without compromising the overall quality.
The whopping MPV has also received a major update in terms of design dropping the sharper edges for rounded ones. Even the extensive use of chrome details helps the Vellfire with a premium appeal.
We are assuming that the next question would be – what does it look like inside the cabin? And to answer this we are waiting for Toyota to launch the details officially. As per the global variant is concerned, the interior has been refreshed completely with a new infotainment system and fresh upholstery. Toyota suggests that the sunroof and sun shades at the back have received some revamp.
Globally, the 2023 Vellfire will be offered with two engine options and the first one is a potent 2.4-litre four-cylinder, turbocharged petrol engine capable of churning out a decent 275 horsepower and 430Nm of peak torque. The next is a 2.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine that works in conjunction with a hybrid system to offer 250 horsepower as a combined output. Sadly, the Japanese brand is yet to confirm which powertrain they will offer here.
2023 Toyota Vellfire: India Launch
Only limited units of the 2023 Toyota Vellfire are allotted for the Indian market and for that, several dealerships are now accepting bookings for the same against a token amount of Rs.2,00,000 to Rs.5,00,000. Deliveries for the same will begin in September 2023.
