Toyota Glanza
Design
Toyota recently introduced the rebadged Baleno named Glanza for the Indian market. Just like the hatchback, it is entirely based on, even this one gets a set of projector headlamps with DRLs, a reworked grille and Toyota badging on the front end. For starters, the grille might look very different but even after that, it fails to look different from the original Baleno.
Interior
Inside the cabin, the all-new Glanza looks better than its elder siblings. Interestingly, it is spacious with tons of interesting features such as a multifunction steering wheel, touchscreen infotainment system and analogue-digital instrument cluster with multi-information display among others.
Engine
At the heart, Toyota Glanza is available with a 1.2-litre K12C petrol engine. In terms of numbers, it is truly capable of producing 90PS of power and 113Nm of torque while being mated to either a 5-speed manual or a CVT gearbox. Interestingly, the top-end variant is also available with mild-hybrid technology.
Revised Price
As per the price revision, the upcoming Glanza will come with a price tag of Rs.7.34 Lakhs. To begin with, the price hike on the Glanza range varies between Rs.15,700 and Rs.33,900. To be precise, the top-end variant is now priced at Rs.9.30 Lakhs (all prices ex-showroom, Delhi).
Toyota Urban Cruiser
Design
In terms of design, Toyota Urban Cruiser remains very similar to the Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza. In fact, it is just a rebadged version of the Vitara Brezza with some minor cosmetic changes. To begin with, the all-new Urban Cruiser features a reworked grille, 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, automatic wipers and LED headlights with DRLs on the outside.
Interior
Inside the cabin, customers get a dual-din audio system with Bluetooth on the entry-level variant. Meanwhile, the top-end variant comes equipped with a large 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, cruise control, automatic climate control and electrochromic rearview mirrors among others.
Engine
Under the hood, it is available with a 1.5L four-cylinder petrol engine. Talking in numbers, this motor is truly capable of producing 105BHP of power and 138Nm of torque while being mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox as standard. Interestingly, customers can also opt for a 4-speed torque converter. The top-end AT variant with the mild-hybrid technology returns a claimed mileage of 18.76kmpl.
Revised Price
Toyota Urban Cruiser is now available with starting price tag of Rs.8.62 Lakhs. Interestingly, the entire range has now received a price hike ranging between Rs.2,500 to Rs.12,500. Just for the information, the top-end variant of the SUV now costs Rs.11.40 Lakhs (all prices ex-showroom, Delhi).
