Triumph Street Triple R is all set to launch its streetfighter on August 11. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the launch is scheduled on the social media handles of the Triumph India.
The Triumph Street Triple R to replace the Street Triple S. Meanwhile, the Triumph Street Triple R will be the entry-level motorbike and the top-level variant will be the Triumph Street Triple RS.
The streetfighter will be powered by a 765cc in-line 3-cylinder engine which produces around 118BHP of power and 77Nm of torque. The Triumph Street Triple R will be less powerful when compared to the top variant. The engine is mated with a 6-speed manual transmission.
The Triumph Street Triple R to offer an upside-down quick shifter, a fully adjustable suspension from Showa, Brembo M4.32 brake calipers up front, and the Pirelli Diablo Rosso III tyres.
The Triumph Street Triple R will not get a TFT Screen unit, unlike the Street Triple RS.
The price of the premium bike will be around ₹9.5 lakhs. Meanwhile, the Triumph Street Triple RS is priced at a premium of ₹11.33 lakhs.
The Triumph Street Triple R to rival the Kawasaki Z900 and the KTM Duke 790.
