Triumph Motorcycles has rolled out the Triumph Tiger 850 Sport in India with a starting price tag of Rs.11.95 Lakhs (ex-showroom). The all-new offering from Triumph has replaced the outgoing Tiger 900. Apart from this, it is now one of the most affordable Tiger bikes in India.

Currently, the all-new Triumph Tiger 850 Sport is available in two colors on offer including :

  • Graphite and Diablo Red and
  • Graphite and Caspian Blue.

Apart from this, the adventure tourer features LED headlamps with DRLs and a 5-inch instrument cluster that offers almost all the information required by the rider.

So what powers this all-new bike? It is an 888cc three-cylinder liquid-cooled engine that is capable of producing 84BHP of power @ 8,500 RPM. Further, the peak torque from this engine stands at 82Nm @ 6,500 RPM. The all-new Triumph Tiger 850 Sport comes mated to a six-speed gearbox. However, there is a slip and assist clutch present for slick shifting. Apart from this, there are two different ride modes available on the recently launched adventure tourer to alter its performance, precisely – Road and Rain.

Mechanically, Tiger 850 Sport gets a 45mm USD Marzocchi forks at the front while at the rear, it comes equipped with a monoshock suspension unit. However, to stop this powerful bike, Triumph offers twin 320mm discs at the front and a 255mm disc at the rear. Other electronic aids that keep the bike stable are the dual-channel ABS alongside traction control.

In India, Triumph Tiger 850 Sport will go head-on against the BMW F 750 GS. Apart from all these features and the most affordable price tag, it will be available with two years unlimited warranty.
