Honda has started the deliveries of the all-new Africa Twin in India from today. The updated adventure tourer was launched here one month ago. However, the all-new bike is now costlier than ever and less powerful when compared to the outgoing variant.

In terms of features, Honda Africa Twin comes with an LED headlamp, LED taillamp and a touchscreen instrument cluster. This instrument cluster on the other hand can be connected via Bluetooth and supports Apple CarPlay. Meanwhile, design-wise, it comes with a sloping fuel tank, large skid plate, tall windscreen and front suspension finished in gold.

At the heart, the 2021 Honda Africa Twin comes with a 1,084cc liquid-cooled twin-cylinder engine. It produces a maximum output of 101HP @ 7,500 RPM and 105Nm of torque @ 6,250 RPM. Further, this engine comes paired to either a manual or a DCT gearbox.

The all-new Honda Africa Twin Adventure Sports comes equipped with inverted telescopic forks at the front. Meanwhile, at the rear, it is available with a gas-charged shock absorber. Also, braking duties on the updated range is handled by disc brakes on both ends. For proper stability, Africa Twin also gets dual-channel ABS and HSTC. Further, there are four ride modes on offer to alter the performance of the bike according to the terrain. These modes include Off-road, Tour, Urban and Gravel.

Honda has priced the 2021 Honda Africa Twin at Rs.15,96,500 for the manual variant. Meanwhile, the DCT variant comes with a price tag of Rs.17,50,500 (all prices ex-showroom). Further, the all-new bike will be retailed via Honda’s Big Wing channel.
