Yamaha has launched the 2021 Yamaha FZ and FZS in India. The updated motorcycle range is now priced at Rs.1.03 Lakh onwards. However, to be precise the updated Yamaha FZ is priced at Rs.1.03 Lakhs. Meanwhile, the FZS variant comes with a price tag of Rs.1.07 Lakhs (all prices ex-showroom, New Delhi).

Update-wise, the 2021 Yamaha FZ range comes with a side stand engine cut off function. Apart from this, even the kerb weight of the all-new bike now stands at 135 kgs against the older 137kgs. Further, the Japanese bike manufacturer is now available with Bluetooth connectivity as standard on the 2021 Yamaha FZS.

Multiple color schemes are added to the updated Yamaha FZ. The list includes Racing Blue and Metallic Black. Meanwhile, colors such as Matte Red, Matte Black, Vintage Edition, Dark Matte Blue and Dark Knight are available on the FZS.

The engine that powers the all-new Yamaha FZ range is a 149cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine. It is capable of producing 12.2BHP of power and a peak torque of 13.6Nm. Further, the transmission duties for this engine is handled by a five-speed gearbox.
Apart from all this, this petrol motor now complies with the BS6 emission norms.

After its launch, the all-new Yamaha FZ range continues to rival the TVS Apache 160 4V, Bajaj Pulsar NS160 and Honda XBlade among others. These mid-life updates are expected to boost the sales of the Yamaha FZ range to a greater extent.
