Another festival and another new tactic from Volkswagen to maximize the sales of its products in India. The carmaker has recently introduced the Sound Edition of Virtus and Taigun with prices starting at Rs.15.51 Lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi).

Volkswagen Virtus And Taigun Sound Edition: What’s new?
With a 5-star Global NCAP rating, both Virtus and Taigun are the most practical sedans and compact SUVs currently available in India. Now, with the introduction of the Sound Edition, both of them are getting better in terms of features as well. For someone who gives a lot of importance to the music system, the Virtus and Taigun are now available with a subwoofer, amplifier, footwell illumination, puddle lamps and electronic front seats. The update is not limited to this; to make this Sound Edition a special one, Volkswagen is also offering Sound Edition badging and graphics to tell everyone that this is a special edition.
Based on the Topline trim, both of them are available in four shades, including Laval Blue, Carbon Steel Grey, Rising Blue and Wild Cherry Red.
Powering both of them is a 1.0-litre three-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine that churns out 113 horsepower and 178Nm of peak torque. For now, this edition will be offered with either a 6-speed manual or an automatic gearbox, depending on the customers’ choice.

We are certain that the attractive benefits on offer will appeal to discerning customers as we introduce them to one of India’s safest line-up of cars.”
