Initially proposed in March 2019, the Yamaha MT15 received an upgrade within the BSVI motor type, with some minor highlights and improvement. The Yamaha MT15 has now dropped to an almost critical year. Initially promoted in March 2019, the roadside YZF-R15 may be a close cousin, and the biking network has become increasingly scarce to find 25,000 buyers in just one year. Cruiser sold 5,203 duplicates in March 2019, while the remaining 20,417 units were sold in previous financials.

Yamaha MTT received its BSVI update on 15 February 2020, increasing its price from Rs 1,38,900 (ex-showroom). In addition to the refreshed engine, the bike also comes with an ‘Ice Flux Vermilion’ replacement shading option, which comes with pre-showroom costs of up to Rs 500. The Yamaha MT15 is powered by a 155cc, single-chamber, 4-valve, fluid-cooled 4-stroke, SOHC motor, which is BSVI-compatible. It produces a maximum power of 18.5 PS and a maximum torque of 13.9 Nm, which is 0.8 PS and 0.8 Nm, which is not propagated by BSIV Adoption.

The engine comes in a 6-speed gearbox. The Yamaha MT15 measures 2,020 mm long, 800 mm wide, and 1,070 mm long. Its wheelbase is 1,335mm and weighs 138kg. The Yamaha MT15 has a front adjustable suspension and a mono-shock in the rear. Also available are two-utilitarian LED front lamps, LED taillights, LED position lights, LCD instrumentation, and a comprehensive handlebar arrangement. The bike is slow to cycle on two wheels. While the Cruiser offers several components to the R15, incorporate contexts, it tunes the ECU and gearbox for agile implementation.
