The Defence Research and Development Organization has invited applications for their ‘Dare to Dream’ Contest at its official website, for which the link is provided below:

The participated Candidates are instructed to select a challenge from the list provided at the website and identify solutions for them and submit.
The interested candidates can participate as an individual or as a start-up, or a start-up headed by a single person. The Applications will last till February 28, 2019. The winner of the contest will be awarded Rs 10 lakh for start-ups and Rs 5 lakh for an individual.
For the contest to win, the candidates have required to write-up 500 words for every challenge that has been selected by the candidate, the next round is called the screening round which involves expert committee judging the different candidates. The Shortlisted candidates will be ranked later and results will be announced.
Top three candidates will be awarded Rs 5, 4 and 3 lakh respectively for individual and Rs 10, 8 and 6 lakh under start-up category
For being eligible to apply, the candidate should be above 18 years, and the participating start-ups should be recognized by the Department of Industry and Policy Promotion (DIPP).
The list includes various disciplines such as AI, autonomous system, cyber security, hypersonic technologies, quantum computing, smart material, soldier as a system and Tera Hz Communication.
Steps to apply for the Contest are as follows:

Step 3: When the new page arrives, Click on ‘register’
Step 4: Click on individual or start-up whichever is suited and fill other details
The candidates will receive an OTP at their registered mobile number, An Id will be created through which the candidates will have to fill the form and share their proposal after it. The Applications will last till February 28, 2019.
