On wednesday, the Indian Institute of management Nagpur (IIM-N) has launched four new techno-functional postgraduate (PG) certificate programmes in collaboration with Jaro Education. Jaro Education is an one of the renowned EdTech companies in india and a leader in executive education.
The Aim of this programmes will be to upskill working professionals and enhance their technical and functional skills with a future-ready approach. This skills will enable the professional to work in an business environment which will be more digital based.
The four newly introduced PG programmes are designed with a curriculum which is a mix of both technical and functional learning. Thus, learners under this courses can expertise themselves in any of the field or jointly in both as well.
According to the IIM, the new courses will be suitable and appropriate for the professionals currently working at intermediate levels. Professional from main buisness sectors like business management, marketing, information technology and financial technologies would find this courses to be more relatable and easy to understand.
As per the press release from IIM, the certificate programmes will have a duration of 9 to 12 months. The courses will comprise 16 modules which will be mentored by IIM Nagpur’s especially trained professional faculties. This programmes will also include regular guidance sessions by industry experts leading professionals.
The four programmes are named as Business Management for IT Professionals (BMIT), FinTech Programme, Data Science for Business Excellence and Innovation, and Digital Strategy and Marketing Analytics.
The participating professionals will be awarded a PG Certificate and alumni status from IIM Nagpur. The first batch for all the four techno-functional programmes is scheduled to be held in the month of July 2021.
The Professionals can opt to equip roles like General Managers, Data Scientists/Analysts, Marketing Consultants, Product Manager or any other higher posts with this programme certificates and can work for IIM affiliated firms.
