To candidates appearing for JEE, NEET Exam 2020, the government of Madhya Pradesh has decided to provide free transportation. For free the state government shall pick the candidates from their respective block/district headquarters to their exam centers for free. From today onwards the students need to register themselves on mapit.gov.in/covid-19 to avail this facility.

Shivraj Singh Chauhan, who is the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh,  has announced this via Twitter. The tweet reads, “ The government has arranged free transport for my dear children appearing for JEE / NEET 2020 exam from block/district headquarters to the examination center. By contacting 181 from 31 August or by registering at https / mapit.gov.in / covid-19, you can get the benefit of this facility.”

For the aspirants to and from their exam centers, district administrations will arrange free transportation . If they want one person can accompany them and can travel for free.

To commute to their exam center easily,  students of IIT have come up to help the aspirants.  A new portal has been developed by the students named ‘Eduride’ which will help the candidates coming from remote areas to easily commute to their exam centers.

From tomorrow to September 6, 2020, JEE Mains exam would commence. In 660 exam centers across the country, a total of 8.58 lakh candidates will appear for the engineering entrance exams. Although, in 3843 exam centers on September 13, 2020, NEET 2020 exam would be conducted . 15.97 lakh candidates have registered themselves for the examination.
