The All India Management Association (AIMA) has issued a statement saying that the hall ticket for the paper-based MAT 2018 which was scheduled to be held on Sunday September 2, 2018 and computer-based MAT 2018 which is to be held on Saturday September 15, 2018 would be available on its official website- www.aima.ac.in
Being a national level Management Aptitude test, the question paper of MAT focuses largely on assessing the general aptitude ability of the candidates. Thousands of aspirants would be taking the test to make their way into MBA/PGDM institutes. As per the information available from AIMA, the September test would have 200 MCQs based on Language Comprehension, Mathematical skills, Data Analysis and Sufficiency, Intelligence and Critical Reasoning, Indian and Global Environment. The total merit score in MAT exam is calculated on the marks obtained by the candidate in 4 sections only and the marks scored in Indian & Global Environment is separately taken into consideration. The final percentile or merit would be based on the main sections only.
Since the exam is conducted 4 times a year, students can get ample amount of time to prepare for the exam and have the opportunity to get enrolled in one of the 600 B-schools of the country on the basis of their MAT score. They have an option to choose whether they want to take admission into MBA, PGDM & allied courses.
Candidates who have registered successfully would be able to download the admit card and get it from the official website. No hall ticket would be sent to the candidate by post. To download their respective admit card candidates need to either fill in their registration number, date of birth (DoB) or email id to get it from AIMA’s website. Here’s a step by step guideline to help you download the hall ticket: –
- Click on the official website of All India Management Association (AIMA).
- You’ll find a link to download the admit card on the official page.
- Follow the instructions given on the page and enter your details like Registration Number, Date of Birth and Email.
- After filling in all the required details, click on the “Submit” icon present at the end of the page.
- You’ll see your admit card displayed on the screen.
- You can download the MAT September 2018 Admit Card and take a print out of it.
- It is advised to the students that they keep at least two hard copies of MAT Sep admit card 2018 for future reference.
After taking the print out ensure that your admit card has following details: –
- Student’s Name
- Roll Number
- Form Number
- Exam Date
- Exam Time
- Address of Exam Centre
- Exam Centre Code
- Candidate’s Photograph
- Candidate’s Signature
It is also important for the candidates to double check the exam location and timings correctly in MAT September 2018 Admit Card as there would be two separate date and time for Pen & Paper based test and the computer-based test. The PBT would be taking place in the morning from 10.00am-12.30pm for all the locations at the same time. Whereas, the computer-based test would likely take place in different time slots based on the number of registered candidates.
As per the guidelines issued by the All India Management Association candidates who fail to produce the admit card along with a photo ID proof at the exam center would not be allowed to write the exam. It is also mandatory for students to bring two photocopies of the admit card. Details of the candidates mentioned in the ID proof and the MAT September 2018 Admit Card should be identical. Among the following listed ID proofs candidates can bring only one:-
- PAN Card
- Driving License
- Passport
- UID Aadhaar Card
- Voter ID Card
