The National Testing Agency (NTA) has reopened the online registration and form correction window for the fourth and last session of JEE Main 2021, the engineering entrance exam.

The new registration window will remain open till August 11, 2021. Interested candidates can register themselves for this exam on the official website of NTA at http://jeemain.nta.nic.in.

The candidates who have already registered themselves earlier can also make online corrections in their JEE Main 2021 application form within this window on the same website.

Re-registrations on student demand

NTA mentioned that the registrations window is being reopened as several requests were received from students for an opportunity to apply for JEE Main 2021 or withdraw submitted application.

Most of the requests were from regions of Ratnagiri, Palghar, Sangli, Satara and Raigadh in Maharashtra. This regions faced heavy rainfall and thunderstorms a couple of weeks ago.

Students from this areas said that they were unable to submit the application forms due to electricity outage and loss of internet connection. Also, the registration centres were unaccessible.

JEE Main 2021 (session 4) registrations

The registrations are open for candidates who are interested to appear for Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech.), Paper 2A (B.Arch.), and Paper 2B (B.Planning) of JEE Main 2021- session 4.

The application forms will be accepted till 9 PM on August 11 and the online application fee can be submitted till 11:50 PM on the same day. Application forms without fee will be automatically rejected.

It must be noted there will not be any be correction window after August 11. Thus, students must carefully update their details in the application form and avoid any type of mistake during the process.

About the Exam

The Fourth and last session of JEE Mains 2021 will be held on August 26, 27, 31 and September 1 and 2. The release date and time for admit cards of this session will be announced soon by the NTA.

While the Agency has already declared the results for Third session of JEE Mains 2021 on August 6. Individual scorecards of appearing candidates are available on the official website.
