The Schools in the Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir, situated in 0-5 km range of Line of Control (LoC) near Rajouri will remain closed on Wednesday due to the current situation in Jammu and Kashmir.

It has also been reported that the exams that were scheduled to be conducted on Wednesday for Classes 5, 6, and 7 also stands canceled, as notified by the Rajouri’s District Magistrate. The notification for the revised dates will be released soon.

It was observed that a day after that India air-strikes terror camp in Balakot, Pakistan on Wednesday violated Indian air space in Nowshera sector of Jammu and Kashmir’s Rajouri district and in Poonch, but were thrown away by Indian aircraft.

Looking at the situation, Governor Satya Pal Malik reviewed the law and order and security system for the current situation after which the actions were taken against the Jaish-e-Mohammad, who was responsible for Pulwama Attack. He confirmed that the situation in both the Kashmir valley and Jammu region is normal.

After reviewing all the laws and orders, he instructed forces to adopt various measures to implement peace across the state. He appreciated the people of Jammu and Kashmir for remaining calm.

The Foreign Secretary Vijay Gokhale informed that India on Tuesday carried out air-strikes at Terror camp in Balakot in Pakistan.

The terror camp was reported to have led by Ustad Gauri, the brother-in-law of Jais-e-Mohammad Chief Mazood Azhar, Gokhale said after the air strikes using Mirage 2000.

Responding to that Pakistan released fire at a number of places across the LoC.
