Bollywood actor Angad Bedi is a part of the biopic which will be on the hockey player Sandeep Singh. His father and a former Indian cricketer Bishen Singh Bedi said that he is very proud of his son as he is playing the character which is very close to the reality.
In the upcoming biopic, Angad will play Bikram Singh (Sandeep’s brother) in the movie. Sandeep Singh was an ex-caption of the Indian hockey team. The movie will be directed by Shaad Ali. Angad says that his father Bishen Sigh Bedi is very proud of the fact that he is all set to play Sandeep Singh’s brother Bikram Singh, which is very close to reality.
His father always used to say it to him that until his fitness level is not like a hockey player he will not be able to make it big in the cricket too. His father has been following his progress and he asks him every day that how is the practice going to the hockey? Moreover, he says tha he is very happy because both Sandeep and Bikram are training him so that he can portray the best in the biopic.
Moreover, he talked about the physical training which he has to go through. His father is saying that he is doing repetitions in whichever shot he is trying to learn. He has to practice at least for 100 or for 200 times and that will make a difference in his shot.
This is the very first time when he is trying to pick up a new sport and he just hopes that it pays a dividend and the progress has been monitored by his dad. Angad’s dad is very keen to know about it and he spoke to Sandeep personally just to know his progress.
He says that he is very happy to see his dad that he is so much involved in his progress as far as the movie is concerned. He just wishes that he lives up to his expectations and rest he will be leaving on the audience to decide.
On the work front, Angad Bedi will also be seen in the movie titled ‘Tiger Zinda Hai‘ which is directed by Ali Abbas Zafar and will be produced by Aditya Chopra. The movie features Salman Khan, DJ Talib, Katrina Kaif, Angad Bedi, Paresh Rawal, Girish Karnad and Sudeep. The movie is said to be the sequel to the 2012 movie ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ and this marks the second installment of Tiger film series.
The movie ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ is all set to release on December 22, 2017.
