On the work front, Ankita is currently busy filming for the action film ‘Baaghi 3’ which is the third installment in the ‘Baaghi’ franchise.
Directed by Ahmed Khan, the film stars Tiger Shroff, Shraddha Kapoor and Riteish Deshmukh and Ankita plays Shraddha’s sister in it.
Ankita made her Bollywood debut this year portraying the character of soldier Jhalkaribai in the period epic ‘Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi’, starring Kangana Ranaut in the title role.
The film was marred into controversies after its director Krish left the project mid way citing conflicts with Kangana, after which she took over the directorial duty.
‘Manikarnika’ was released to mostly positive critical response and was a box-office success.
Ankita is known for her work in the small screen with the successful serial ‘Pavitra Rishta’, which made her a household name and earned her several awards.
