Indian director Shree Narayan Singh is all set to direct his upcoming movie titled ‘Jasmine‘, which will be based on the women-centric plot. Earlier, the director has worked along with an actor Akshay Kumar in the movie titled ‘Toilet
: Ek Prem Katha’ and now he is all set to gear up for his next movie which will be based on the social drama.
Moreover, Shree Narayan Singh will soon be working along with an actor Shahid Kapoor in his upcoming movie titled ‘Batti Gul Meter Chalu‘, which will be focusing on the highly priced electricity bills which nowadays that has become a very common problem for the citizens of the country. The movie is slated to release on August 31, 2018.
Now, he has announced his third project with a title ‘Jasmine’, which will have touted to have a woman as the protagonist and will might star Anushka Sharma in the lead. The movie ‘Jasmine’ will be directed by Shree Narayan Singh and will be produced by Prernaa Arora of Kriarj Entertainment.
The movie ‘Jasmine’ will be showing a journey of a girl from a child to her motherhood and will also be showing the eternal love between a mother and a child. The movie will feature a 9-month pregnant woman, 9 days of Navratri. It will be representing the circle of life and hence it is called ‘garbha’. It is a dance form which actually celebrates the womb.
Director Shree Narayan Singh says that he always wanted to work on a woman-centric movie and he is very much happy that now he got an opportunity to do so. When the rumors came out that the makers of the movie are planning to rope in actress Anushka Sharma to play the titular role in the movie. However, on this Shree Narayan denied all such reports by saying that the casting will happen only after a director will come on board.
Moreover, he clarified that he has not met Anushka or spoken to the actress yet. Till now, he has just announced his movie and the very first thing he will be doing that he will be locking a director for his upcoming project and then they will decide the cast of the movie later on.
