The shooting of films stopped everywhere in the world when COVID-19 struck. As films are slowly resuming work back, Arjun Kapoor and Rakul Preet Singh’s upcoming romantic drama is also gearing to resume work. The film will start shooting again from August 24. There were only 14 days left to complete the film’s shoot before the pandemic came.
Director, Kaashive Nair is making his debut with the film, which is a cross border love story.
Producer of the film, Nikkhil Advani of Emmway Entertainment informed that each member has undergone the safety protocols. The producers have worked hard to make the shooting place safe and secure for everyone.
Starting from August 24, the crew of the film has a 10-day schedule with the entire cast, after this only a 4-day schedule, planned for September end will be left. Earlier, before the pandemic, it was to be shot from March 21 to the beginning of April.
Apart from Arjun and Rakul, the film also stars Neena Gupta, Kanwaljit Singh Seth, and Divya Seth. All these actors will also shoot for the remaining portions left.
Actor, Kawnaljit Singh Seth, a veteran had earlier raised his voice against the government’s decision to ban actors above the age of 65 for shooting films, Tv shows, and commercials. The decision was later revoked by the Bombay High Court.
Producer Bhushan Kumar of T-Series talked about resuming work on the film and said :
It’s encouraging to see actors and the crew all prepped up and keen to get back to work. The safety protocols will be followed strictly on the set, and we are hoping everything goes as planned, ”
While John Abraham who is also one of the producers of the film said that they waited to ensure that everyone is safe before resuming work.
