An Indian actor Arjun Kapoor says that he would like to do a biopic of a person with an underdog story. Arjun has recently joined the Indian Super League bandwagon as the co-owner of the FC Pune city franchise and he was being asked that if he would love to do any one of them.
Actor Arjun says that there are already so many biopics which has already been made and there are many which are in the making so he would like to do an underdog story. He thinks that those are the most interesting biopics right now he can not name anyone off hand but he hopes that there is some footballer coming through our teams in ISL. He would love to play the footballer star or anything related to that character. The biopic of the sportsperson will be exciting if that brings out the different facet of the person.
Arjun feels that the biopic should be the one which brings different facet of someone’s life only then it becomes interesting. He believes that Yuvraj Singh is an extraordinary man and he even mentions the way his journey starts and there were so many ups and downs came in his life then he also mentions Sourav Ganguly, the man who defied all odds. However, he is not saying that he wants to play anyone of them he is just saying that if there is an interesting story like them then he would love to do a biopic.
On the work front, Arjun will be next seen in his upcoming thriller movie with a title ‘Sandeep Aur Pinky Farrar’, which will be directed by Dibakar Banerjee and will be produced under the Yash Raj Films Banner. However, the shooting of the movie will start in the coming ten days in north India. The shooting will last for two months and he has been preparing for the last three months now.
For Arjun, it has been a very interesting journey because Dibakar is a great director and he had a lot of fun working along with him and moreover the story of the movie is quite amazing and extraordinary he cannot reveal much about the movie as if now. All he wants to say that there is an interesting tussle going on in the India right now and there are two thoughts which are processing and which came to surface in last few years. His upcoming movie deals with the psychology that how people of today’s time are changing in the society and what are their ups and down and especially when you are so much infused into the system.
