Ayushmann Khurrana is currently one of the most trending faces in the industry with back to back hit films under his kitty.

In a recent interview with My Good Times, he talked about his upcoming comedy film ‘Bala’, which is on the brink of release.

Talking about its theme, he said: “The film is not about baldness, its about self-love. So you discover that when you watch the film.”

Ayushmann said that he never had to go through baldness but has many friends who are suffering from premature baldness, because of which he sympathizes with his character.

When asked about the dark phase of his career when his films like ‘Hawaizaade’ did not do well, Ayushmann said: Nothing lasts forever, I think you should be prepared for anything.”

Further elaborating, “There was a big learning for me, I think the film didn’t do well [..] that was a great learning curve for me.”

Ayushmann will be seen playing a bald man in Amar Kaushik’s ‘Bala’, co-starring Bhumi Pednekar and Yami Gautam. It is scheduled to release on 7 November, 2019.

The film became a subject of controversy after a similarly themed film ‘Ujda Chaman’ was announced, which will be releasing on 8 November, 2019.

Ayushmann is currently filming for ‘Shubh Mangal Zyada Savdhaan’ which is a spin-off of  his 2017 film ‘Shubh Mangal Savdhaan.’

He has also finished filming for Shoojit Sircar’s comedy drama ‘Gulabo Sitabo’, where he will be sharing the screen space with Amitabh Bachchan for the first time.
