While it is an instrument to connect with a large number of people, social media can also be a very toxic place especially for film celebrities. The film stars have to be constantly available on it and update their fans not only about their professional work but also have to give some glimpses of their personal lives.

Social media provides a platform to the fans where they can pour out their love for their favourite actors but at the same time that platform is also used to attack celebrities with nasty and mean comments.

Many film actors openly accept that the virtual world is a difficult world to be in. Several stars have been avoiding to join any social media platform. But there are still some who find the space comfortable and one such actor is Ayushmann Khurrana.

Ayushmann rcently revealed in a chat show that he doesn’t mind being on social media, he even thrives over there. “I am social media’s child because I started as VJ. I am the one who probably thrives on relatibility quotient or the connect with the masses. For me, social media works pretty well, he said.

The actor also explained that he uses social media to show different aspects of his personality like his interest in poetry. “It works really well for me because it’s not just about promoting my films but also about showing my other side of poetry, my spiritual leanings. It’s about expressing my real side. I don’t just utilize social media selfishly just to promote my films. You can not hide anything over there. People can see through that either you are too selfish with social media or selflessly want to explore and reach out to people.”

On the work front, Ayushmann’s latest release Bala is doing great business and has become his biggest opening film. He is also gearing up for Gulabo Sitabo where he will be seen with Amitabh Bachchan.
