After collaborating on the successful film Article 15 earlier this year, actor Ayushmann Khurrana and director Anubhav Sinha are all set to to reunite for a new film, according to a report in Filmfare. While not much is known about the plot of the film yet, it is reported to be in the space of spy thriller.
The report quoted a source close to the development as saying, “After the success of Article 15, Anubhav and Ayushmann both wanted to collaborate one more time and both were in search for a story which should be more exciting than their first film.”
The source further revealed that Ayushmann is very excited about the project. “Sometime back, Anubhav shared a real life spy story with Ayushmann and he jumped on it. He liked it instantly and since he has never done anything like that, he said yes instantly,” it said.
The details of other cast members are not known yet. The film will go on floors in mid 2020. Currently, Anubhav Sinha is busy with the post production of his upcoming film Thappad that features Taapsee Pannu, Pavail Gulati and Manoj Pahwa.
On the other hand, Ayushmann Khurrana is enjoying the success of his back to back hits, Article 15, Dream Girl and Bala. He has two films lined up for next year, which are currently under post production. Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan, a spin-off of his 2017 film Shubh Mangal Saavdhan, is coming out on 21 February. Gulabo Sitabo, directed by Shoojit Sircar and co-starring Amitabh Bachchan, will be released on 17 April.
