Chitrangada Singh had become a part of the venerable TV reality show Dance India Dance Li’l Masters by agreeing to sit in the judge’s panel for the 4th season of the programme. Her presence in the show, however praised and cherished, was not long lasting. In a statement with the Press, Chitrangada announced that due to unrelated work commitments, she has been compelled to quit her position as a judge in Dance India Dance Li’l Masters.
The renowned actress had immediately prospered in her career on the silver screen after completing her time as a model. Chitrangada, as of now, has signed up for many upcoming films like Sahib Biwi Aur Gangster 3, and Baazar. She is also producing Sony Picture’s latest film Soorma. All of these upcoming projects on her platter have invariably made it difficult for Chitrangada to focus on her role as judge of Dance India Dance Li’l Masters.
In the statement, Chitrangada expressed her disappointment in making the decision, announcing that she had loved her first experience in a reality show where she had the chance to interact and connect with a younger audience. She explained that watching the contestants compete against each other had been a very “emotional experience”, and that she would miss all of them very much. Chitrangada wished all the contestants luck and praised them as she signed off Dance India Dance Li’l Masters for the final time.
