Bollywood’s three Deols, father Dharmendra and sons Sunny and Bobby are coming together on the big screen again. They are going to star in the sequel of their hit 2007 boxing drama. Any guesses which film was it ? Yes, you are right, they are coming back with Apne’s sequel, Apne 2.
The film will release on Diwali 2021, with the legendary Dharmendra announcing the news on Twitter. He shared a motion poster from of the film, captioning it as :

What is more interesting is that Karan Deol, son of Sunny Deol who made his debut in the 2019 film, Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas is also going to appear in the film.
The original film was helmed by Anil Sharma, who also directed Sunny Deol’s 2001 all-time blockbuster, Gaddar: Ek Prem Katha. He is returning to direct the sequel of the film too.
Apne was a film which told the moving story of a disgraced former boxer, looking to reclaim his his lost respect in the boxing field through his sons.
Producing the film is Deepak Mukut under his Sohum Rockstar Entertainment banner. Shooting of the film will start in mid next year.
Apart from the Deol trio, the first film also featured Katrina Kaif, Kieron Kher and Shilpa Shetty in pivotal roles.
The last time the three Deols were together seen in Yamla Pagla Deewana: Phir Se in 2018.
