Enola Holmes star Millie Bobby Brown to star in another Netflix film Damsel; will executive produce the film too

At just 16 years of age, Millie Bobby Brown is already an international star. Thanks to Netflix, the young actress came into prominence with the famous show, Stranger Things. She recently starred in Netflix’s film, Enola Holmes, and made her debut as a producer too in it.

Her relationship with Netflix is a strong one and both parties are taking it to the next level. She will now star in the fantasy film, Damsel which Netflix is producing while she will serve as its executive producer.

In Damsel, Millie is going to play the role of Princess Elodie. In the film, the Princess thinks she is getting married to Prince Henry but unbeknownst to her, she is being sacrificed to a dragon. Entertainment Weekly reported this.

Helming the film is Juan Carlos Fresnadillo, who directed the hit horror-thriller, 28 Weeks Later. While Dan Mazeau who wrote the script of the 2012 film, Wrath of The Titans is going to write the script.

Millie Bobby Brown is enjoying tremendous success currently in her career. Her latest Netflix film, Enola Holmes is a hit on the streaming platform with many regarding it as her best performance.

She is currently shooting for the fourth season of Stranger Things. She had stopped its shooting during the pandemic. While Millie will also reprise her role in the film Godzilla Vs Kong, a sequel to her 2019 film, Godzilla: King Of The Monsters. The sequel will come out in 2021.

The young actress’s growing popularity with Netflix is indeed commendable. She is owning the digital space and at such a young age, there is only more space for her to grow.
