Bollywood actor-turned-host Evelyn Sharma has renewed her contract for the international show Euromaxx, according to a report by news agency IANS. She has extended the contract for another year after wrapping up the last schedule of the show in Berlin, Germany.
“Audiences across the globe are looking for more than entertainment,” said Evelyn, who has also acted in a number of Bollywood films like Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, Main Tera Hero and others. “Yes, people want to be entertained, however they also want to take away more. Information, education, inspiration! Our life is meaningless without a deeper purpose, and I see the audience is craving for great content more than a quick thrill,” the actor-turned-host further added.
Sharma recently took to her Instagram account to announce the final episode the show and wrote, “It’s this year’s final episode of DW Euromaxx. Time to celebrate a successful year of great stories!! Thank you all for watching!” She also asked the fans to write in the comments what topics they would like to see in the show next year.

Euromaxx is a weekly show that airs on German channel DW (Deutsche Welle). It gives insights about European lifestyle and culture. According to its description on the website of DW, the show “reports on Europe with powerful images and exciting stories: architecture and adventure, cultural and culinary explorations, land and lifestyle, modern fashion and music, big names and big events.”
