FilterCopy| Types of Shoppers was released on June 20, 2019, on youtube. The video sweeps in smoothly and debunks the stereotypical notions about women and shopping.
It’s been long that the women are accused of shopping too much or taking too long or are crazy for shopping. Thanks to FilterCopy to show the other side of the coin as well.
The video discusses ‘types of shoppers’ and to our surprise opens with the men fighting for a tee shirt. Yes! That’s right. Oh! How great it feels to see someone breaking the normality and bringing in gender neutrality. The guys are competing against each other and are thus categorized as “competitive shoppers”.
The next category is “Aur colors hai kya”. You must have at least encountered one of these people in the stores, asking for other colors of cloth. You must have done it too. While some people will ask for different colors and buy none of them, there will be some who will end up buying all of them.
The ‘FOMO Shopper’ seems exaggerated or is probably made-up. This is one category which is least likely to be seen. People don’t go around asking ‘where you picked this from’ to complete strangers. Not everyone in the store is a FOMO shopper, that if Fear Of Missing Out.
This is the category where everybody can be included. I mean who doesn’t like Sale? Everybody can be called ‘Sales Lover’ because the malls and stores are overcrowded during those days/time. So sale lover is hinting at gender neutrality because the men are equally waiting to purchase stuff at a lesser price.
The ‘Chatty Shopper’ isn’t also seen much though. People mostly come with some friend or acquaintance and are likely to take their advice. But the exceptions are always there.
‘The Influencer’ is also a bit exaggerated but is super funny. There are people out there who will act as an influencer and will show their “Fam” the collection.
The ‘Time Taker’ is our personal favorite, because not only is it true but it is debunking the stereotype so subtly. Everyone who feels women take time should see this video and realize that men do it too.
