Hansal Mehta upset over 'Padmavati' getting pushed!

Indian film director Hansal Mehta says that he is very upset about Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s upcoming Indian Period drama movie titled ‘Padmavati‘ release date getting postponed. He says that he is very much disappointed with the government’s stance. The decision which he has taken to record a video for the forthcoming 48th International Film Festival of India (IFFI) was also not appropriate and he regrets that now.

Hansal says that all the bullies have prevailed again. Moreover, he says that the government’s stance is very disappointing and they were not expecting this. However, the truth is that most of the people have resigned themselves to government inaction in the face of such blatant terror. He feels that the only advice can be given to them is to shut up, retreat and accept these attacks.

When asked that the makers of the movie Sanjay Leela Bhansali showed the movie to those who have threatened to have him behaved? Does the movie get the approval? Hansal says that the movie has been mired in the controversy over the conjectures that the movie distorts history, which is regarding the Rajput queen Rani Padmavati. However, director of the movie Sanjay Leela Bhansali has denied all such rumors.
