Actor, Shraddha Kapoor has made a name for herself in Bollywood with some decent films. She is a talented performer who wants to surprise her audience every time. Now, if rumors are to be believed, then the actor might star in the Hindi remake of a Tamil thriller. But what is the name of the Tamil film rumored to star her?
Director, Rathna Kumar’s 2019 thriller, Aadai is the rumored film. Released on 19 July 2019 the film starred Amala Paul in the lead. If Shraddha indeed stars in the film, she’ll get to play a bold and free-spirited character.
At the time of its release, the film had received good critical reviews and responses from the audience. The rumors suggest that the film might be remade in Hindi with Shraddha approached to star. They also suggest that an official announcement will be made in a month’s time.
Further, India Today’s sources revealed that Rathna Kumar, director of the original film might direct the remake too. Even a source close to Rathna Kumar talked to India Today and said :
“Producer Arun Pandian, who holds the remake rights of the film, has sold it to a popular production house in Mumbai. They have initiated talks with Shraddha Kapoor and she has expressed interest to be a part of the project as well. However, nothing has been finalized yet.”
No comments were obtained from Shraddha’s team. The remake of the film was touted to have cast Kangana Ranaut in the lead last year, although Producer, Arun Pandian had denied it as a rumor.
Apart from Amala Paul, Aadai also starred Ramesh, Vivek Prasanna, Sriranjani, and Sarithran in important roles.
Away from these rumors is Rathna Kumar patiently waiting for the release of Master. it stars actor, Vijay, and Rathna have written the film along with others. Lokesh Kanagaraj has helmed the film, which also features Vijay Sethupati.
If this comes out as true, then we are in for a feast as we’ll see Shraddha in a never seen before avatar.
