After releasing the teaser around a week ago, the makers of the upcoming film Jawaani Jaaneman have unveiled a new poster introducing Alaya F. Alaya, who is the granddaughter of veteran actor Kabir Bedi and daughter of Bollywood actress Pooja Bedia, is making her debut with Jawaani Jaaneman.
The poster features Alaya wearing a short dress and carrying a back-pack. Her look suggests she is playing a young college student in the film. The makers shared the poster on the Twitter page of Pooja Entertainment and wrote, “New decade calls for a new star! Introducing Alaya F in Jawaani Jaaneman.”

The film stars Saif Ali Khan as the male lead while Tabu will also appear in a pivotal role. Khan will be seen playing father of Alaya. Talking about his role in a recent interview with Mumbai Mirror, he revealed that he is not playing a father in the conventional sense. “I am not really playing a father as my character is resisting fatherhood,” he told the news daily.
While speaking about the film, Khan said, “It is a fun, naughty film and I didn’t know this side of our director Nitin Kakkar, before we started shooting. The film is about being at an age when you think you are too young but you really are not.
Directed by Nitin Kakkar and distributed by Pen India Limited, Jawaani Jaaneman is produced by Vashu Bhagnani’s Pooja Entertainment in association with Saif’s Black Knight Films and Jay Shewakramani’s Northern Lights Films. It is scheduled to be released on 31 January.
