Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan took to Twitter to launch his second look from the upcoming ‘Kalank‘. The makers of the film have already been dropping off the first glimpse of the characters, which has left the fans craving for more.

The poster features Varun as an iron-hearted and fearless Zafar who is always prepared to take on any challenges head-on. One can see him locking horns with a mighty Bull, which reminds us of a famous scene from the film ‘Baahubali’.

Sharing the poster, Varun wrote, “An iron-hearted man with an unapologetic attitude. Watch #Zafar’s story on 17th April. #Kalank”.

The upcoming period drama is directed by Abhishek Varman and produced by Karan Johar, Sajid Nadiadwala, and Fox Star Studios. The film stars Madhuri DixitSonakshi SinhaAlia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Kunal KhemuAditya Roy Kapur and Sanjay Dutt in lead roles. Music has been given by Pritam while Dharma Productions and Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainments are the distributing companies of the film.

This film is Karan Johar and Abhishek Varman’s ambitious project. The film was conceptualized by Karan Johar and his father Yash Johar around fifteen years ago. The period drama film is set against the partition and Indian independence struggle in the 1940s. Actress Sridevi was initially signed for the character role played by Madhuri Dixit.
