Kangana Ranaut‘s upcoming Indian Bollywood drama film titled “Simran“, is directed by Hansal Mehta and produced by Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar. The movie features Kangana Ranaut in the lead role.
Yesterday, the makers of the movie have released the new poster for their upcoming movie ‘Simran’ on his Twitter account along with a caption saying, “#PrafulPatel is coming to show you her goofy side & make you laugh your hearts out! #Simran releases on 15th September.”

In her upcoming movie, Kangana Ranaut will be seen playing the role of Praful Patel, a nurse in the US. The lead character in the movie has confessed that she is a kleptomaniac and gambles a lot. In the new poster, Kangana Ranaut can be seen dressed up as a Praful Patel in which she is revealing her goofy side. The story of the movie ‘Simran’ is said to be inspired by the life of the Sandeep Kaur, an NRI from the United States, she has done few robberies.
In the movie, she is probably suffering from split personality disorder and she is a divorcee. She stays in the US and keeps meeting potential suitors, but none of them actually stay back after getting acquainted with her quirky nature. Her father wants her to lead a certain life but on that she gets violent. She seems like she is full of energy but she is weak and ill from inside as we can also see blood coming out from her nostrils.
On the work front, Kangana Ranaut will also feature in the biopic of Rani Laxmibai titled “Manikarnika: Rani of Jhansi”, which is directed by Krish and produced by Zee Studios in association with Kamal Jain & Co-Produced by Nishant Pitti of EaseMyTrip.com. In the movie actress, Kangana will be seen portraying the lead character of Jhansi Rani Laxmibai.
‘Simran’ is hitting the screens on September 15, 2017.
