‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’ co-stars Kiara Advani and is a stand alone sequel to Priyadarshan’s 2007 film ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa’ starring Akshay Kumar and Vidya Balan.

Produced by Bhushan Kumar, Murad Khetani and Krishan Kumar, the film is slated to release on 31 July 2020.

‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa’ was directed by Priyadarshan and was an official remake of the 1993 Malayalam film ‘Manichitrathazhu’. It was a critical and commercial success.

Tabu was last seen in Ali Abbas Zafar’s period drama ‘Bharat’ and Akiv Ali’s romantic comedy ‘De De Pyaar De’, both of which were box-office hits despite unfavorable reviews.

Kartik, on the other hand, is gearing up for the romantic comedy ‘Pati Patni Aur Woh’ directed by Mudassar Aziz and co-starring Bhumi Pednekar and Ananya Panday.

A remake of the 1978 namesake film by B.R. Chopra, the film will hit the silver screens on 6 December this year.
