The episode begins with the press conference for Rishabh’s music video. A reporter asks if Karan is going to perform in the song, and Karan confirms the rumours though he adds he’s only present for 10 seconds. Sherlyn’s journalist questions Karan about his own marriage. It’s then revealed that Sherlyn told him about Karan and Preeta’s wedding.
All the other journalists begin to swarm around Karan with questions about his secret wedding. Karan tries to deflect the questions, and then leaves the press conference due to the presses from the media. Kareena watches the ruckus and makes a shocking decision.
She corrects the media that Karan isn’t married but he’s going to tie the knot with Mahira. She also tells them to publish the correct photographs in the newspaper and not add any other girl with Karan. Mahira is very happy with the announcements and confesses her love for him before Rakhi.
Preeta and Srishti reach their home. Sarla questions them, and Rakhi replies that Preeta slapped her. Sarla asks why she went to the Luthra house, and Srishti says she went to find out more about the notice that Preeta sent to Karan. Preeta is utterly unaware of the notice and is shocked to learn the truth.
Kartika frees Sameer from the room and tells her that Kareena has declared to the media about Karan and Mahira’s wedding. Sameer is afraid that when Karan finds out about this sudden development he’s going to be very angry.
