Kim Kardashian will be feeling proud currently, as both her sister and husband have topped the Forbes highest-paid celebrities list. Kylie Jenner, earned $590 million in the last 12 months while Kim’s husband, Kanye earned $170 million. They were followed by sports stars Roger Federer, Ronaldo and Messi.

Kylie earned the majority of the amount from the sale of 51 percent stake of her company. Beauty giant Coty acquired the stake in it. While, Kanye earned much of his money from his deal with Adidas for his Yeezy sneaker brand.

Forbes magazine had earlier declared Kylie as not a billionaire and accused her of spreading lies, with the Kardashian sister responding back saying that Forbes estimate was based on unconfirmed assumptions. The incident caused widespread controversy for the star.

While announcing the list, Forbes also declared Kany as the highest earning musician. Elton John followed him with $81 million. The combined earnings of the people in the 100 name list came out to be $6 billion before taxes and fees, a drop of about $200 million from previous year owing to stopping of business due to the Coronavirus.

Among Indians, only actor Akshay kumar kumar featured in the list like last year, though he dropped from 33rd to 52 in the list, this year with an estimated earning of about $48.5 million.

Tennis champion, Roger Federer comes third on the list with an estimated earning of $106.3 million. The 20 time grand slam winner mostly earning the money from his endorsement deals with brands such as Uniqlo and Rolex. Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi, the two football icons follow behind him respectively.

The newcomers in the list compiled by Forbes are ‘Hamilton’ creator Lin-Manuel Miranda ($45.5 million) and Billie Eilish ($53 million). Previous topper, Taylor Swift settled for 25th spot.
