It is important to understand one’s responsibility and the tools at one’s disposal. We feel that out of all the people, the youtube community in India understands the importance of this medium and goes out of their way to address important issues.
LShokeen Films has released a video keeping in mind this responsibility. The video “Mera Laadla| Every Kid is Special” is dedicated to all those kids who go through a hard time when their friends and family have expectations of them similar to that of others. It is imperative for parents to realize that they should not pressurize their kids into doing something. The protagonist is seen arguing with his parents that he was forced to take science when he clearly mentioned that he did not like that stream. Facing rejection from all ends, the protagonist turns to his girlfriend for support and she too shuns him away.
The protagonist also tries alcohol and could have lost his life in his subconscious state. We all know that our parents love us and want the best of us. We also understand that negative motivation works for some, but it is important for parents to understand that it doesn’t work for everyone. While the parents were tensed at home, the protagonist was out all night and scared the bejeezus out of them.
The video has a very important message that must be told to every parent.
