It was such a happy news the world received, when we knew that Sridevi and Karan Johar were coming together in ‘Shiddat’. Sadly before the film saw the light of the day, the actress bid a sudden good bye to the mortal world.
No doubts, she rests in hearts eternally and her presence is felt by all.
However, as they say the show must go on.
Karan Johar’s film now is to be helmed by Madhuri Dixit, who will replace Sridevi, however the film no more be called ‘Shidat’ is what is being said.
The news was broken to the world, first by Janhvi Kapoor , elder daughter of late actress Sridevi.
“Some clarifications!!! Yes…we are honoured and humbled to have @MadhuriDixit on board for @abhivarman ‘s next! NO the film is NOT titled SHIDHAT! Yes the film will Commence shoot in mid April! The films final cast and credits will be announced soon! [sic],” said Karan in a comment on Twitter.
Janhvi’s post on Instagram was as follows:
As of now, we can only wait patiently for more updates about the film from the makers.
